Register Students

Registration Process
For your convenience, listed below is outlined steps and registration documentation to help alleviate the registration process.

1. If you already know which course you would like to register in, or you're not sure, go to step two.

2. To register, for a course or a program, choose one of the following methods:

Multiple Student Registration
Enform's registration form allows allotted space for three students. Therefore, the individual registering students must print multiple copies of the Registration Form, complete, and fax these forms to (403) 250-1289. However, for the convenience of corporate customers with large student populations, Enform makes it possible to register students effortlessly with our Customized Training.

Customized classes have no set number of people required for a course. With customized training, Enform will send an Instructor to a company's location to train employees on site.
For more information, contact the Enform Registrar at 1 (800) 667-5557 (Canada only) or (403) 250-9606.

Note: When registering by fax or email, you are not officially registered until you receive confirmation from the registrar. Be sure to include a phone number or email address where you can be reached.

For courses that require prerequisites, applications are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis, provided that the application is complete, prerequisites have been met and full fee has been submitted.

3. The registrar will require the following information:

  • Student name
  • Student's job position
  • Student's day and month of birth (required to ensure student records can be maintained efficiently)
  • Name and address of company
  • Phone and fax numbers
  • Course name
  • Date
  • Location

4. Course Registration and Fee Payment
All course fees are due upon registration and fees are subject to change.
Please note:

  • Course fees do not include GST (5%).
  • Payment may be in the form of VISA, MasterCard, debit card, cash or personal or company cheque.
  • Companies that have submitted a credit application and have been approved for credit shall pay all outstanding accounts within thirty (30) days of invoice date.
  • NSF cheques will be reinvoiced with a $25.00 administration fee and certificates will be withheld until payment has been made.
  • Placement in classes will not be confirmed until payment is received.
  • The above information is not applicable to foreign student registrations.

5. Foreign Student Fees
Enform is subsidized by the Canadian Petroleum Industry through a special levy. As a result of this subsidy, the prices shown in this planning guide are the prices charged to students residing in Canada or affiliated with a Canadian company. Therefore, foreign students registering for these courses are subject to a 30% Foreign Student Surcharge.

6. Cancellation and No-show Policy
Enform reserves the right to cancel any course in which the minimum registration is not achieved, and make any changes in course content as circumstances may require. For more information, see Enform's Cancellation and No-show Policy

7. Credit Applications
If you prefer to have Enform invoice you for your students registration fees, Enform requires a credit application to be completed.

Approval of credit applications may take up to 2 weeks. This is all dependent on the credit references you have provided. We must be able to fax or phone your references for information. Therefore, the credit application should be completed in full, including listing fax numbers for your references. Incomplete credit applications may delay the approval process or be rejected entirely.

8. Exams

All students writing an exam must have at least one piece of signed photo identification available.

9. Challenge an Exam
Enform believes the information passed on during our training is integral to learning and therefore provides little opportunity for students to challenge exams. However, exams for some courses may be challenged if the student has had sufficient training and has considerable work experience in the topic. To enquire about an exam challenge, call

1 (800) 667-5557.

10. Income Tax Eligibility
All course fees qualify for deductions from personal income in accordance with the Income Tax Act of Canada. Receipts will be issued to students at time of payment. Please retain these receipts for income tax purposes. GST Number: 82572 2879

11. Recertification
To recertify, students must either re-take the full course by the end of their certification period, or if available the student may take a refresher course prior to the expiry of their certification.

The following courses are available in 2009 and provide the option of recertification.

  • H2S Alive® Challenge
  • Certified Health and Safety Auditor (Renewal)
  • Safety Management and Regulatory Awareness for Wellsite Supervision (Refresher)

For more information on these recertification courses including their prerequisites, search our courses, or contact the Registrar at 1 (800) 667-5557 (Canada only) or (403) 250-9606.

12. Registering at Other Locations
There are some Enform courses that are offered at various colleges and institutes throughout Canada. For a complete list of these facilities, locations, and contact information, see Registering at other locations.

13. Replacement Certificates
In order to protect the privacy of our students and discourage the fraudulent use of its training certificates, Enform requires that a Replacement Certificate Application Form accompany all requests for replacement certificates. Privacy laws dictate we cannot give certificate numbers over the phone or fax. A new certificate must be purchased from Enform.
